The Good Exchange fundraising campaign approaches target amount – UPDATED
The Theatrical Guild’s fundraising campaign in association with the Good Exchange and Sir Iain McKellen has raised over £94,300 to date and is just £5,700 short of its target.
Although the theatre industry is beginning to slowly re-open, there are still many theatre workers who remain out of work and, with no prospect of employment in the near future, are in need of emergency support to help with the purchase of food, mortgage / rental payments, and essential bills such as gas and electricity, medical costs, etc.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported our campaign so far. We have received generous donations from across the world and individuals have raised money in a variety of ways from making original cocktail books through to photographing inside theatres in the dark.
With one final push and we will be able to reach our target of £100,000.
Our promise is that every penny raised on The Good Exchange will be paid directly to the individuals we represent to support them during these difficult times.
