“Paddington the Musical” has staged a historic sweep at the 2026 WhatsOnStage Awards, taking home a record-breaking nine trophies including Best New Musical. The production, which brings Michael Bond’s beloved bear to life at the Savoy Theatre, now holds the joint record for the most wins in the ceremony’s history, alongside Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Miss Saigon. It is also the most wins for any new musical.
