“An Audience With Charlie Stemp” : Selling Fast !

  Categories: News

Sunday 16th November 2pm : Leicester Square Theatre, 6 Leicester Place, London WC2

Tickets range from £15 – £75 (booking fees apply) and can be purchased from Leicester Square Theatre Box Office on 020 7734 2222 or via leicestersquaretheatre.com

This one-off ‘in conversation’ event will be hosted by acclaimed Actress, Liz Robertson, with the discussion led by celebrated Theatre Director, Rachel Kavanaugh, who first directed Charlie in his breakthrough performance in Half a Sixpence. Together, they will explore his journey from rising star to one of the UK’s most celebrated “song and dance men” delighting audiences in the West End and on Broadway. Audiences can expect a warm, candid conversation filled with personal anecdotes, backstage stories, and reflections on the highs, lows and lessons of a life in the theatre.

Charlie Stemp : “Theatre has given me so many incredible opportunities, but none of it would be possible without the amazing Backstage & Font of House teams who hold everything together. They’re the people who keep the magic alive every night, and I’ve always admired how hard they work—often without much recognition. I’m really chuffed to be part of this event for The Theatrical Guild. It’s a chance to give something back, share a few stories (probably a few embarrassing ones too!) and support a charity that makes a real difference to the people who make theatre happen.”

Rachel Kavanaugh : “It takes a highly skilled group of people to create a piece of theatre and as a Director, I am acutely aware of how brilliant our workforce is. TTG helps our wonderful Backstage & Front of House colleagues when they are in need of financial or emotional support. Chatting to the prodigiously talented Charlie Stemp to help raise money for this remarkable charity feels like a double win. Charlie is extraordinary. I adore working with him and we both enjoy a giggle – so, we should have some fun”

Liz Robertson : “I’ve had the privilege of seeing Charlie’s career soar, and he is a shining example of what dedication, humility, and talent can achieve. Having him join our ‘An Audience With’ series is a real joy—and knowing that it helps raise money for a cause so close to my heart makes it even more special.”

So, come and join us for this special event – celebrating the life and career of one of the most treasured performers of his generation.
